Job Overview
Stiftung Kieler Stadtkloster is seeking a dedicated Housekeeper (m/f/d) to join the housekeeping team at the Lisa-Hansen-Haus senior care facility in Kiel, Germany. This permanent part-time position offers up to 25 working hours per week and is ideal for candidates who enjoy supporting older adults in a clean, comfortable, and welcoming environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare breakfast and evening meals for residents.
- Set up dining areas and clean dishes after meals.
- Provide meal service in the dining room.
- Clean residents’ apartments and shared community areas.
- Follow hygiene, cleaning, and disinfection procedures.
- Assist with events and provide hospitality support.
- Perform laundry and linen care duties.
- Help maintain a positive and friendly workplace.
- Work flexible shifts, including scheduled shift rotations.
Requirements
- Experience in housekeeping or a related field is preferred.
- Formal housekeeping qualifications are an advantage but not required.
- Ability to work well with elderly residents.
- Reliable, organized, and self-motivated.
- Friendly, patient, and compassionate personality.
- Good teamwork and communication skills.
- A valid Class B driver’s license is beneficial but not essential.
