Your Responsibilities
As a Junior Associate, you’ll support the consulting team by:
- Monitoring political, legislative, and regulatory developments across Spain.
- Tracking healthcare and public policy initiatives at both national and regional levels.
- Attending conferences, stakeholder meetings, and policy events while preparing concise reports.
- Following parliamentary activity, legislative proposals, policy papers, and government consultations.
- Conducting policy research and preparing tailored briefings for consultants and clients.
- Assisting with ad hoc research projects across healthcare, food policy, and related public affairs sectors.
Candidate Profile
You’ll be a strong fit if you have:
- A bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Political Science, Law, Economics, Communications, Public Policy, or a related discipline.
- Previous internship or professional experience within government, public institutions, consulting, advocacy, healthcare, or public affairs (preferred).
- A genuine interest in politics, policymaking, and government affairs.
- Strong research, analytical, and organizational skills.
- The ability to manage multiple assignments and meet deadlines.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both English and Spanish.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- An interest in healthcare, nutrition, social policy, or regulated industries.

Internship Details

- Compensation: €800 per month
