Job Responsibilities
As a Waiter / Waitress, your daily responsibilities will include:
- Welcome guests warmly and escort them to their tables.
- Present menus and recommend food and beverage options.
- Take customer orders accurately and serve meals and drinks professionally.
- Ensure guests receive excellent service throughout their visit.
- Process payments using the restaurant’s POS system.
- Assist with opening and closing duties, including cash handling when required.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the dining area.
- Work closely with kitchen and front-of-house staff to provide smooth service.
- Use the restaurant’s booking system and digital tools efficiently.
Job Requirements
To qualify for this role, you should have:
- Previous restaurant or hospitality experience (preferred but not essential).
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Good spoken English.
- Spanish, Scandinavian, or additional languages are considered a strong advantage.
- Friendly, professional, and team-oriented attitude.
- Ability to multitask in a busy restaurant environment.
- Strong attention to detail and reliability.
- Availability to work evenings, weekends, and peak tourist seasons.
- Commitment to maintaining a professional appearance and following company standards.
- Legal authorization to work in Spain (EU citizens can receive assistance with the application process).
