Job Overview
Bvlgari Hotel Milano is seeking an experienced and service-oriented Head Waiter / Waitress to join its luxury Food & Beverage team in Milan, Italy.
This full-time position is ideal for hospitality professionals who have experience in fine dining or luxury hotels and are passionate about delivering exceptional guest experiences. The successful candidate will supervise restaurant service, support team members, and ensure every guest receives world-class hospitality in line with Bvlgari and Marriott International standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Welcome guests and provide exceptional dining service.
- Present menus, explain dishes, and recommend food and beverage pairings.
- Serve meals and alcoholic beverages according to luxury hospitality standards.
- Communicate guest requests, allergies, and dietary requirements to the kitchen.
- Ensure tables are prepared, clean, and professionally presented throughout service.
- Monitor food quality, service timing, and guest satisfaction.
- Handle guest concerns promptly and professionally.
- Support restaurant operations to ensure smooth and efficient service.
- Maintain restaurant cleanliness and food safety standards.
- Follow all company policies regarding hygiene, safety, and service excellence.
Leadership Responsibilities
- Assist managers with staff training and onboarding.
- Help schedule and coordinate restaurant team members.
- Motivate, mentor, and support junior employees.
- Promote teamwork and maintain a positive working environment.
- Serve as a role model for professional hospitality service.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Head Waiter, Senior Waiter, or similar role in a luxury hotel or fine dining restaurant.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced hospitality environment.
- Strong leadership and teamwork abilities.
- Professional appearance and positive attitude.
- Knowledge of food, wine, and beverage service.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
